You’ll come back with a smile. Find the answer to your questions below.
Should I order a ticket in advance?
Yes, please. Our partner Dokano provides 10 canoes, with space for 2-3 persons/canoe. So better be quick and order your ticket.
What about the weather?
If the weather isn’t on our side, you can cancel easily.
What to do on the water?
You can go for a stroll on the water with your colleagues, paddle to a picnic spot close by, or travel to the city centre. Ghent is easily accessible by water.
We’ve designed a Zuiderpoort canoe map, with highlights, destinations, and paddle routes.
And we’ve picked three favourite spots, all within 20 minutes by canoe or on foot. Pack your lunch and take your pick:
- Keizerspark (via the Fransevaart)
- Sint-Pietersabdij gardens (via the Kantienberg)
- Green docks, De Krook
