Paddle & picnic
Fancy shaking up your lunch break? On Tuesday, May 26th, we’re organising a canoe picnic: we’ll provide the canoe, a delicious lunch and a destination. You paddle to a lovely spot nearby, or simply drift around on the water. Prefer solid ground under your feet? We’re also mapping out a (short) walking route, so everyone can join in, with or without a paddle.

Should I order a ticket in advance?
Yes, please. Our partner Dokano provides 50 spots on the canoes, with space for 2-3 persons/canoe. So better be quick and order your ticket.
What about the weather?
If the weather isn’t on our side, we’ll set up a cosy picnic spot at Zuiderpoort.
Can I order a picnic without a canoe?
Yes, of course. Order a picnic pack and stroll with your colleagues to a destination of your choice, or meet up there with the colleagues who paddled their way in by canoe.
Where to find my picnic spot?
We’ve picked three favourite spots, all within 20 minutes by canoe or on foot. Pack your lunch and take your pick:
- Keizerspark (via the Fransevaart)
- Sint-Pietersabdij gardens (via the Kantienberg)
- Green docks, De Krook
